Watch Log: Tuesday February 28th, 2012

AFTERNOON SHIFT

1338 Traffic Stop/Drug Arrest 1351 E. Roosevelt 12-33872

Officers initiated a traffic stop on two vehicles after both drivers were observed conducting a hand to hand transaction. As a result of the stop it was discovered that the driver of one of the vehicles, 24-year-old and his 25-year-old passenger were in fact attempting to purchase drugs from Daniel Martinez (05/10/85). Martinez was found to be in possession of 41 balloons of heroin, 39 balloons of cocaine and cash. The two who were soliciting the drugs will have charges screened against them. Martinez was booked into jail on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and a traffic offense.

GRAVEYARD SHIFT

0107 Agg Assault (DV) 754 W. North Temple 12-34189

Shawnell Webb (4/28/84) was involved in a physical altercation with her 30-year-old boyfriend, inside their room at the Allstar Motel. During the incident, Shawnell produced a knife and cut her boyfriend twice on the right hand. The victim drove himself to a local Hospital where his injuries were treated. The incident occurred in the presence of their 11 month old child. Shawnell was booked into jail for aggravated assault (domestic related) and child abuse.
