An officer was outside his marked patrol car with a pedestrian when he observed someone driving it down the street. Another officer nearby located and followed the marked car until it stopped for a red light at North Temple and 300 W. The officer approached and made contact with the adult male driver who was compliant. Todd Hill (2/25/77) was booked into jail for felony car theft.
