A male entered the business wearing what was described as military type clothing.  The male was pulling a hard luggage style case with him.  While in the business he acted strange towards employees and customers.  The male continued to pull the suitcase around the business.  Eventually the male left the business leaving the suitcase behind.  Salt Lake Police Bomb Squad was called out and rendered the suitcase safe.  No explosives were found.  However, there were multiple guns and ammunition in the case.  This investigation is ongoing to determine if criminal charges will be filed.

A witness looked out of his window after hearing a noise in the secured parking lot.  He noticed a male sitting in his neighbor’s van.  The witness then went to the victim’s apartment to inform him of the male in his van.  Dale Olsen (10/22/62) was found in the victim vehicle.  The witness and victim were able to detain Dale until police arrived.  Dale was found to have property from the victim’s vehicle in his pocket.  Another vehicle in the parking lot had also been broken into and had property missing that was found on scene.  Dale was booked into jail for 2 counts of vehicle burglary and trespassing.
