Suspect Sought in Robbery

February 3, 2012 —The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the community’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Maverik convenience store in Salt Lake City.

On Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 3:21 pm a white male suspect entered the Maverik at 310 S. 900 E. He loitered in the store for approximately six minutes before approaching the cashier brandishing a black handgun and demanded money from the register. After obtaining some cash the suspect exited the store and walked northbound.

The suspect is described as:

- White male
- 30-40 years of age
- 5’9” and 170 lbs.
- Dark colored goatee
- Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with another black shirt underneath which shows the

letters “TA”, dark colored pants, and sunglasses.
