Candlelight Vigil to Honor Crime Victims

SLC police chief, chaplains lead Crime Victims' Rights Week event

Tonight at 7 p.m. on the north steps of the City & County Building, Chief Chris Burbank and Chaplains of the Salt Lake City Police Department invite the public to a candlelight vigil to honor and commemorate victims and to transform the darkness caused by crime.

“It is important that we recognize the impact of crime not only on those individuals directly affected but on our community as a whole,” said Burbank.
Open to the public, the candlelight vigil begins at 7 p.m. this evening.
