The Salt Lake City Police Department will be conducting an administrative traffic checkpoint from 10 p.m. Friday, December 4, to 3 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009, in the vicinity of westbound 400 South from 600 West to 750 West in Salt Lake City, Utah.
All motor vehicles will be stopped. The inspection and inquiry procedures are estimated to take approximately two minutes in duration for most vehicles. The checkpoint will serve to enhance vehicular safety in the area by checking for valid registrations, proof of insurance, valid driver licenses, and drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs.
